This user was saying to send them a cool item for a spike. As soon as I accused them, they moved away from me.

This user was saying to gift them for their youtube mailtime. Yeah right...

The "You scammed me" tatic

This is a very hard to notice scam tatic. Someone will claim you scammed something of theirs. A very clever tacit.

A scamer started acusing the user StarLight666 of scamming their top hat. I checked their achivements, and they were never a member and only had 6 achivement. StarLight didn't even have a top hat! When I started confronting the scammer, she said that StarLight traded it for a glove. One thing:

I ignored her and told her that was unreasable. Then I said "Oh wait. Your trying to scam her. It's a scam tatic." As soon as I said that, 5 seconds latter she was gone. I caught her before anything happened to StarLight. I never got her username, but I saved an innocent jammer from being scammed.

Poor/birthday/funny scam

For this scam, there are 3 ways to do it.

1. Say It's your birthday and ask for gifts.

2. Say your poor and ask for gifts

3. Say send me items to make me look funny.

4. Ask for items because your new.

For the first one, no one knows it is their birthday, and it's very likely it's not. Some users do this e very day.

For the second one, check their den, tradelist, pets, animal amount, and achivements. If they have items in their den, they are not poor. If they have rares or expensive stuff on their list, they are not poor. If they have alot of pets, they are not poor. If they have alot of animals, they are not poor. If they have alot of gem achivements earned/spent, they are not poor. If they are a member, they are not poor.

For the third one, do not send them anything expensive or rare.

For then forth one, check if they are a member or how many achivements they have. If they are a member, they are not new. If they have more then 15 achivements, they are not new.

1. You will not send it back.
2.You will run into your den.
3. Alot of people were saying "Where is my gift?"
4. Captain obvious scam.

The pawprint scam

When trading was introduced, it fixed the sending scam (kinda). But suddenly, someone very smart found out that something in the museum. If you repeatedly clicked on something, it was exactly where the "accept" button was, and the person would accept it. I wonder who discovered it, and how much time did they have? Anyways, someone would take you there and claim the item on your list could change colours if you clicked in that spot. So people did it. A trade was sent, then poof! Your item was gone. AJ fixed this by adding the "Are you sure you want to accept this trade?" button. It's just a piece of the past. But the scam book still has it registered. Like everything.

I can insure you that:

1. The rare spike is a lie!

2. Even if she had one, she wouldn't give anyone it.
3. Contest scam.

He was in Jamma Township, saying "Trust me for my outfit, I say no everyone". His den was locked.

1. If you trade him a rare, he will accept and dive into his locked den. Nuff said.

She was in JT, saying "Gift me a den beta and I'll give you a rare spike!" Her den was locked.

1. If you send him a den beta, he will go to his locked den.

First scam ever: Sending

So let's start with the first entry in the book.

"Send me an item and I'll send you one back!"

A long time ago, this was the only way to trade. I remember it. But some cleaver scammers took an item, but didn't give the promised item.

It's story time.

A wolf named Miss FutureNinja wanted a white glove for her black glove. But she discovered she didn't have to give a jammer a black glove for it. One day, a tiger named Expert SnowyStar had a white glove, but he wanted a black glove. Expert asked Miss to trade. Expert went first. He sent Miss his glove. One second latter, Miss was gone. He lost his white glove, and had to wait for them to be back in the store to get another one.

The trade system sorta got rid of that. But to this day, scammers still use this method. Another way of this method is to say your trading sytem is not working. More jammers tend to trust them.

To this date, this is the most known scam. The trade system was created for a reason...

Aj scam book
